This design is made in the UK in small batches using high quality FSC certified hardwoods. It is constructed using traditional joinery techniques with solid joints and concealed solid wood plugs which add character to the top surface. It is finished with a high quality low sheen extra durable lacquer that protects it from stains while preserving all the natural character of the solid wood. It is made as two separate sections with special spacers designed to make the upper section 'float' above the lower section, giving it a slightly weightless appearance.

This design is made to order, so the size, wood type and number of sections can be customised, allowing you to create the ideal design to fit your space or equipment. European oak, ash, iroko and walnut are the most popular woods we make this from, but we can use other timbers if you're looking for something specific. Find out more about the woods we use here. Please feel free to contact us to discuss having something made just for you.

It is sent as two separate sections, and the connector piece is a simple bolt-on fitting that is secured with two screws at the back.

We can also fit a range of leg types, including our hairpin legs in custom finishes, square minimalist legs and angled steel legs. Please see our other listings for examples of these legs on other furniture.

This design has a 33cm (13") high opening that is accessible from either side, ideal for storing your 12" vinyl records, speakers, large books or other items such as liquor bottles.

Most furniture takes around 6-7 weeks to be ready to send. We will contact you when it's ready so that we can arrange a convenient delivery day. Some smaller items may be in stock in which case they will be dispatched in 3-10 days depending on customisation.

Small items will be delivered by a national parcel delivery company, such as DPD, UPS or Parcelforce.

Larger items will be delivered on a pallet to the closest level surface to a ground floor entrance. The driver cannot bring the furniture into your home, so make sure you have some help to carry it in. We aways contact you before shipping large items to make sure you can be home to take delivery.

For an extra charge we can send items using a courier service who can deliver into a ground floor room of choice. This service is a lot slower, so your delivery may take an extra 10-14 days to arrive, and you may still need to assist the courier as it may be delivered by a single driver. Very large, heavy items will be delivered by a 2-person courier team if this service is available to your postcode (eg South West and London). Courier delivery unfortunately isn't available to Northern Ireland, some remote postcodes in Wales, Scotland and England or any offshore addresses. Please call or send us a message here if you want to discuss delivery options to your postcode.

If you require assembly, delivery to an upstairs room and removal of packaging we can also arrange a white glove service that will do all the heavy lifting for you. This service is only available in some areas so please contact us for a quote if you have any questions.

Please remember to provide a contact telephone number at checkout. All couriers require this and without it, we can't send your furniture!

All our furniture is made to order in around 6-8 weeks. Some smaller items may be in stock in which case they will be dispatched in 3-10 days depending on customisation. Please see main description for lead times.

All our products can be shipped to the UK, Europe, USA and Canada and other countries. The shipping cost depends on the size and quantity you order, and your location. To see the shipping cost just add your chosen options to your basket and select your country. You can remove it from your basket at any time.

If shipping isn't showing as available to your location don't worry, we can still send it, but we'll need to get a quote because the cost varies depending on the size! Just message us with the size you're looking for and we'll get back to you with a price.

Items will be sent with an international delivery company (usually UPS, Fedex or DHL). Unfortunately we can't arrange delivery on a specific day but we will send tracking details as soon as it has been dispatched. You will then be able to contact the delivery company to schedule/reschedule delivery. Delivery takes 3-4 days from the day of dispatch depending on your location.

Delivery is to the street door, so ensure you have someone available to help if you are ordering a large, heavy item.
