With plenty of space for your record collection, the Technic record player cabinet features a spacious topline storage section for equipment or 7" singles and is the optimum height to act as a casual DJ stand (the larger sizes can accommodate a couple of turntables and a mixer on top). Low, classic mid century hairpin legs give it a weightless, refined look, resulting in a streamlined storage solution with a functional aesthetic.
The Technic record player stand is made from a selection of beautiful hardwoods, and it's available in several sizes, colours and leg options, so just select from the drop downs to create the solution that works for you, and add any extras to your cart using the links below.
The sizes shown are a Large 140cm (55") size in oak on clear coated steel 20cm legs and black 30cm legs and a Large 140cm (55") dark ash version on black 20cm legs.
This design is made to order and will be ready to ship in about 7-8 weeks.
To help keep your vinyl neat and tidy you can add matching stop strips to your cabinet to keep your vinyl records from being pushed out the back:
The oak and iroko versions will be paired as standard with clear coated steel legs, the dark ash and walnut come with black powder coated legs. If you have a different preference, just let us know at checkout.
The legs can be finished in a range of polished metal finishes, including copper, brass and bronze
This design is handmade in the UK in small batches using a selection of high quality FSC certified solid hardwoods. It is built to last, constructed using traditional joinery techniques. The wood is sanded super smooth to enhance the clean lines, and is protected with a clear, durable low sheen lacquer that allows the natural wood grain to take centre stage. Each level is connected by spacers that allow the segments to 'float' slightly above each other, giving a lightweight and streamlined feel.
The openings in the lower section are ideally sized for records stored in vinyl sleeves. The upper sections are ideal for media equipment and 7" vinyl records.
European oak, ash, iroko and walnut are the most popular woods we make this design from.
Read about the woods we use:
It is sent as two separate wooden sections with the legs detached. We've made it as easy as possible to put together, so the legs are fitted using 12 bolts and a hex key and the two wooden sections are quickly connected with 4 more bolts, so it only takes a few minutes to get set up and ready to start organise your record collection!
We also make this design on square frame legs for a more minimalist look. Take a look here
